El Paso County’s Household Hazardous Waste Facility specifically excludes appliances, air conditioners, and microwaves. Avoid loading an appliance for that facility without checking an appropriate alternative.

Contact a listed appliance recycler or your waste collector about your exact unit, its refrigerant requirements, pickup versus drop-off, and fees before making a trip. APN requests are a separate service and do not book county collection.
