A freestanding range, wall oven, and built-in cooktop need different removal arrangements. Identify the fuel source and installation type before asking for pickup.

What to include in your request
- Gas or electric; freestanding range, slide-in range, wall oven, or cooktop.
- Whether it is disconnected, removed from cabinetry, and accessible for carrying.
- Approximate size, glass damage, stairs, and whether more than one appliance needs removal.
Separate appliance collection from installation work
Arrange qualified help for gas and hardwired electrical connections. A wall oven or cooktop may require removal from cabinetry before a pickup partner can collect it. Confirm the lifting plan and access route without attempting to move an installed unit alone.
Ask the retailer delivering a replacement about its haul-away terms. Explain the exact appliance you need removed: an offer to collect a freestanding range may not cover uninstalling a wall oven. If the unit works, a local donation organization may be another option after confirming acceptance.
There is no charge to submit an APN request. An available independent partner may contact you. Confirm acceptance, access, preparation, timing, and any charges before you agree. Response and pickup are not guaranteed.

If no pickup partner is available
Check your municipal waste program, the retailer delivering a replacement, or a local recycler. For a working appliance, contact a local Habitat ReStore about donation acceptance and collection. Confirm the item, appointment, and fees with the provider before making a trip.

Can I request gas stove pickup?
Yes. State that it is a gas appliance, explain its current installation, and arrange qualified disconnection. A partner must confirm acceptance and collection terms.
Can a broken oven be recycled?
Ask a local appliance recycler about the complete unit and any damaged glass. Acceptance, preparation, and fees vary. Do not dismantle it simply to prepare an APN request.
Does free pickup include removing a wall oven?
No uninstallation service is promised by the request. Confirm cabinet removal, disconnection, and lifting arrangements separately before collection.
